as i've mentioned before, the interwebs have made a lot of information and ideas more readily available to more people than anything in history, including the idea that an invisible old man in the sky might be hogwash. and now there's a study that says just that.

the police ALWAYS know where you are

the police have a new tool, but they can't tell you about it. it lets them pinpoint your location, even if you're not using your phone, and can intercept your calls, read your texts, etc. the manufacturer says the police don't have to tell you if it's been used against you - even if you file a freedom of information request. it's called a stingray, and we're betting you'll hear a lot more about it from here on. welcome to 1984 - just a little late.
