the police have a new tool, but they
can't tell you about it. it lets them pinpoint your location, even if you're not using your phone, and can intercept your calls, read your texts, etc. the manufacturer says the police don't have to tell you if it's been used against you - even if you file a freedom of information request. it's called a
stingray, and we're betting you'll hear a lot more about it from here on.
