killer whales starving

puget sound, with its chinook salmon supply, used to boast a large, stable population of orcas. then the bush administration's concerted efforts to kill the chinook fishery (to support salmon farms, power plants, and rerouting of vital salmon spawning areas for water use and game fishing) paid off in an unexpected and highly noticeable way:

the puget sound orcas are starving to death.
