so suppose that you're one of the tobacco companies that got owned in the 1998 tobacco settlement, and you're more than a little angry at the folks that took such a big bite out of your bottom line. the same folks that are against tort reform, and who contribute millions of dollars to democratic candidates. what do you do to make yourself feel better, and to prevent lawsuits and payouts of this kind from ever happening again?you team up with bush-appointed prosecutors and accuse them of bribery. and if they win the case, you do it again and again until you get them sent to prison. obviously.
